Google Encrypts Search


In response to the revelation that the NSA has tapped into Google’s data, Google began encrypting users’ searches.  While this may seem to be a good thing, it means that marketers trying to find out keywords used by their website visitors will now be blocked from that information.  The only people who will have access to the keywords users typed in to a Google search are Google’s paid advertising program users.  This is really Google’s way of getting more people to sign up for their Adwords advertising program.
